European days of art crafts, exhibitions and workshops in Oristano and Sassari

Conceived in France, the "European Days of Art Professions" (GEMA), an international project dedicated to the value of "know-how", land in Sardinia for the third time.

From Monday 28th March to Sunday 30th April the public will be involved making them participate in the fascinating world of artisan crafts, trying to give voice to the theme chosen for this year "Our hands in unison". During GEMA 2022, professionals of the arts and crafts and living heritage will tell their passion with one voice, one hand, in unison.

Project partners: the ArtiManos Association - Sardinian Master Craftsmen, the Mario Sironi Academy of Fine Arts and Insight Risorse Umane which from 28 March to 3 April present a series of events within the event.

THE EVENTS - Organized by ArtiManos in the ISOLA pilot center of Oristano, the key event is the collective exhibition entitled "Our hands in unison - GEMA 2022 " which will present unpublished artisan works to the public, expression of Sardinian art crafts . Practical demonstrations to the public of various stages of craftsmanship are also scheduled throughout the week.

In the ArtLab Resource Center of the “Sironi” Academy of Sassari, from Monday to Friday, workshops and training sessions involving the participation of artisans, consultants, trainers, students of the academy and students of artistic high schools in the Sassari area.

Collaborative workshops will also be offered by “Insight Human Resources” which will bring together artisans, students and young graduates in the art sector with the idea of cooperating in the creation of application modules of storytelling applied to the realities of the artisan market.
