Bronze medal for Filippo Tortu in the 200 meters at the European Championships in Munich . The gold went to the British Hughes.

The Sardinian-born athlete from Brianza finished in third place with a time of 20 "27, behind Hughes (20" 07, seasonal record) and the other British athlete Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake (20 "17).

For Italy silver and bronze also in the 3000 hedges: the gold went to the Finnish Raitanen, second place for the blue Ahmed Abdelwahed and bronze medal for Osama Zoghlami.
