For Sardinia, the winner was thirteen-year-old Sofia Pisano, from Orrole, awarded together with the eighth graders of the Istituto Comprensivo di Nurri e Orroli, led by teacher Carol Sirigu. «Sofia achieved an extraordinary result, her work was chosen among many works that had violence against women as their theme», says Carlo Carta, president of the Gesico tourist association which was responsible for promoting the initiative particularly in territory of Trexenta and Sarcidano.

In the presence of the mayor Alessandro Boi, the president of the Regional Council of Sardinia Piero Comandini, the president of the Epli Sardinia Romano Massa, the councilor Silvia Anedda and the president of the local Proloco Silvana Anedda, the meeting took place in a room packed with the public. evocative awards ceremony. The winner Sofia Pisano explained to the public her work regarding a topic, unfortunately of very current relevance, such as gender violence. «A theme developed in a commendable manner and which demonstrated, if ever there was any need, the depth and maturity of our kids», concludes Carlo Carta.
