This is what the president of the Sardinia Region Christian Solinas asked the minister of ecological transition, Roberto Cingolani, in a videoconference on energy issues.

"We have lived up to now with energy costs that are decidedly higher than the rest of Italy, which have affected the economic and social development of the island. This is why - added the governor - today Sardinia needs a credible road map. in terms of energy, which you look at in perspective and which is good for Sardinia and for the country as a whole ".

In connection also the councilor for industry Anita Pili, who reaffirmed the importance of arriving as soon as possible at an energy strategy for Sardinia. "We must guarantee an adequate energy structure for the continuation and growth of the Sardinian industry and for the development of the activities recently started - highlighted Pili - without losing sight of tariff equalization, essential so that Sardinians can also pay the same tariff in their bills. to that applied in the rest of Italy ".

The Ministry sent this morning a document that collects the fundamental points in terms of energy on which the Region will express itself, the result of the intense work of analysis and comparison that took place during these months and which, according to what was reported by the Minister during the videoconference, should allow the island to recover a strong energy structure and give concrete answers, as requested by the Region, both to citizens and to businesses.
