"A precious opportunity to take stock of the timing of the issuance of some implementing decrees of the national government regarding suitable areas, agrivoltaic, energy communities, hydrogen valley and hydrogen production plants in industrial areas" of Sardinia.
These are some of the themes at the center of the meeting between the regional councilors for Industry, Anita Pili, and for the Defense of the Environment, Gianni Lampis , in Rome, within the Energy, Environment and Sustainability Commission, of the Conference of Regions, representatives of the other Regions and the Minister of Ecological Transition, Roberto Cingolani , Undersecretary Vannia Gava and the three department heads of the Ministry.
"A constructive institutional confrontation , enriched by the presence of Minister Cingolani, strongly desired by the Region of Sardinia, who in recent years has played the role of coordination on environmental and energy issues in the specific Commission of the Conference of Regions", explains a note from Villa Devoto.
“We have also known - underlined the commissioner Pili - the timing of the Pnrr calls which concern 2 billion euros for energy communities in municipalities of less than 5,000 inhabitants . Within the year, according to the times dictated by the Ministry, beyond the recent and spurious controversy over an imaginative 'renunciation', Sardinia will be the protagonist, with over 300 of its municipalities , to this extent which represents an important opportunity for territories. Some clarifications obtained will also serve to set up the work of the Region with Municipalities and companies, in synergy with the Mite . 'Isola - added the commissioner Lampis - Therefore, it is necessary to carry out a co-planning with the State in identifying the areas suitable for these plants, not limiting the autonomy of the Sardinia Region in territorial development policies . We reminded Minister Cingolani of the need to complete the work done on the 'Ecological Transition Plan' which, despite its publication in the Official Gazette in June, received a negative opinion from the Commission, composed of regional environmental councilors. . The Plan represents an important planning tool which the Regions must adhere to in their programming. The Sardinia Region is already ahead, having approved the 'Regional Strategy on Sustainable Development' and the 'Adaptation Strategy to Climate Change'. In the meantime, we must make the choices concrete by planning the spending of EU funds according to these guidelines ".
