Enchantment at the Museum among archaeological finds and the warm jazz of the DisOrchestra

The night of shooting stars, but also of rising stars, those of the musicians of the DisOrchestra , a band directed by Raffaele Puglia that brings together young talents from Northern Sardinia. The "Sanna" National Museum in Sassari celebrated the night of San Lorenzo with a special, free opening of its renovated rooms, featuring a sleek and captivating display, and a DisOrchestra concert in the garden.

The DisOrchestra is composed of: Fabrizio Fresu, Mario Careddu, and Lorenzo Pintus (trumpet); Mauro Piras, Pietro Zinchiri, and Salvatore Serra (trombone); Edoardo Rosa, Cristian Casu, Giuseppe Bussu, Andreana Pinna, and Emanuele Depalmas (sax); Riccardo Dore (guitar), Andrea Budroni (keyboard), Lorenzo Agus (double bass), and Federico Pintus (drums). Plus Giada Moschella on guitar for the piece "Instant Blu."

The concert delighted the audience with warm jazz, showcasing a particular flair for dynamics and expression, balancing traditional swing with modern sounds. All the pieces performed were written and arranged by Raffaele Puglia, Mario Careddu , and especially Federico Pintus , the ensemble's most prolific composer. The evening opened with his piece, "Our Song." The concert was supposed to close with Mario Careddu's "Non ho più bisogno di lacrime," but the connection between audience and band sparked an unexpected encore: "Stairway."

Yesterday's event is part of the 8th musical festival "Il Filo Rosso" , organized by the Santa Cecilia Polyphonic Association .
