After long negotiations, the Municipality and the Pro Loco of Castelsardo, with the direction of Event Sardinia, have reached an agreement for New Year's Eve with Elodie, the queen of Italian pop and also a revelation actress, and Irama, the rapper who is on the podium of Sanremo artists for copies sold and certified by the Italian Music Industry Federation. Two artists who fully fit into the spirit of the call for New Year's Eve 2024 by the Department of Tourism of the Sardinia Region, which the Municipality of Castelsardo, together with Alghero, Cagliari, Olbia and Sassari, has won for band A, that of large events with safety plans for over 10,000 spectators.

Elodie began to gain attention with her second place in the 2015/16 edition of the talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi and since then it has been a continuous escalation that has led her to be very popular. Suffice it to say that she will also hold concerts in stadiums and even in the one in Naples, where she will be the first female artist ever . She achieved consecration at the 2017 Sanremo Festival with the song “Tutta colpa mia”. The Sanremo stage saw her as a protagonist as a competitor also in 2020 (with the song “Andromeda”) and in 2023 (“Due”). She acted as co-host on the second evening of Sanremo 2021. In 2022 she made her film debut as the protagonist in the film “Ti mangio il cuore” by Pippo Mezzapesa and won the Ciak d'oro as revelation of the year, while the song “Proiettili” performed by her with Joan Thiele was awarded the David di Donatello for best original song in the 2023 edition.

Irama, originally from Carrara but adopted by Monza (his name is Filippo Maria Fanti), has participated in Sanremo several times: he started in 2015 with Sanremo Giovani, earning the right to participate the following year among the New Proposals. In 2017 he won the talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi and released his first album “Plume”. In 2019 (“La ragazza con il cuore di latta”), 2021 (“La genesi del tuo colore”), 2022 (“Ovunque sarai”) and 2024 (“Tu no”) he was admitted among the Big of the Italian song festival. Irama has obtained 52 platinum records and 4 gold records, corresponding to 3,625,000 units of sales certified by FIMI . In 2024 he was the second artist with the most certified copies in the history of the Sanremo Festival in the FIMI era.
