The search for harmony as a salvific and beneficial act for human beings, but also for their planet: this Saturday , at 6:30 pm , the Spazio e Movimento premises in Cagliari , at Via Napoli 80 , will host the inauguration of a new solo exhibition, featuring " Yūgen " by Tuscan painter Elena Achilli . Curated by Ivana Salis , the exhibition will be open until June 13th , between Thursdays and Sundays , from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm .

Made in collaboration with the Asteras association and under the patronage of the Municipality , " Yūg en " is part of the second event in the program for the tenth anniversary of the space created by Marilena Pitturru , with the aim of promoting and valorizing contemporary female art . Achilli was thus chosen for her ability to translate into visual form the impulses of the social contexts she herself crossed during her travels, in a chromatic and atmospheric painting .

Weaving perception, memory and transformation in his paintings, with "Yūg en" Achilli brings out the relationship between man and nature in constant tension towards a balance that is possible, but still to be achieved: between primordial elements and different sensorial planes, a profound meaning is expressed that looks to individual introspection and the silence of contemplation, with water and its dynamic flow as synonyms of life, regeneration and mystery .

With an international career that has seen her exhibit in Italy, Spain, the United States, Antigua and New Zealand , Achilli started with a multidisciplinary training at the ISIA in Urbino , but between graphics, illustration and photography she has chosen painting as her main artistic language , in a process of continuous evolution in which lights, shapes and materials become fluid visions inspired by the balance of nature.
