“I mercoledì del Conservatorio” is doubling this week. The Sala Sassu of the Sassari musical institution is offering two concerts, both with free admission .

The first is Wednesday at 7 pm and is dedicated to the piano four hands. The two teachers of the “Canepa” Mauro Masala and Sinziana Mircea will propose the Sonata in B flat major KV358 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the Sonata in D major op. 6 by Ludwig van Beethoven, the suite Trois morceax en forme de poire by Erik Satie, the Petite suite by Claude Debussy, the Waltz of the Flowers from The Nutcracker by Piotr Ilič Tchaikovsky and, by the same Russian author, the Waltz from The Sleeping Beauty arranged for piano four hands by Sergej Rachmaninov.

Friday, again at 7:00 p.m., concert by Nicolò Medinas, a third-year student of the Guitar course with teacher Federica Artuso. The program includes music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Fernando Sor, Mauro Giuliani and Johann Kaspar Mertz.
