Six seminars on Sardinia. Six unmissable events to rediscover the Island between history, archaeology and traditions. In collaboration with Sardegna Turistica, after the success of the 2024 events, the Olbia Community Hub proposes “Discovering Sardinia”, a new series of meetings dedicated to the historical and cultural heritage of the land of the nuraghi.
Kicking off tomorrow with the seminar on the Punic tower of Porto Rotondo, curated by Rubens D'Oriano and Paola Mancini and scheduled from 6 to 8 pm, the program offers the opportunity to delve deeper into some of the most significant monuments and archaeological sites in Sardinia, through talks by experts and scholars in the sector .
The meetings, moderated by Gian Mario Figoni Frau of Sardegna Turistica, will continue on March 28 with the seminar on the Museo della Femmina Agabbadora (speaker Pier Giacomo Pala), on April 11 with the appointment dedicated to the Monte Arci geomuseum and the geological history of Sardinia between rocks, minerals and obsidian (speaker Luigi Sanciu) and on the 16th of the same month with the evening on the Palmavera nuraghe and the Anghelu Ruju necropolis (speaker Gabriella Gasperetti). The seminars on the Romanzesu Sanctuary Village on May 9 (speaker Fernando Posi and Coop. Istelai) and the story of an excavation by Nadia Canu on May 16 complete the picture.
All seminars will be held at the Olbia Community Hub, from 6pm to 8pm, with free admission and no registration required .
