The new idea for Dinamo 2024725 is to have dynamic big men. After the confirmation of Rashawn Thomas and the hiring of Andrea Mezzanotte, the Sassari club is banking on Xavier Johnson, a 201cm winger, protagonist of Udine's return to Serie A with an average of almost 14 points and 7.6 rebounds.

The American Johnson is more of an alapivot than a true center, given that in the Udine quintet it was mostly Da Ros who played that role. Johnson does not disdain the three-point shot from time to time, but the percentages are low: 28%. More than anything it seems that coach Bulleri and ds Sartori have in mind a very athletic pair of big men, such as the one composed of Johnson and Thomas. The alternatives in the composition of the pair include Mezzanotte who is more of a shooter or Vincini who is instead a true center.

In the meantime, despite having signed a two-year contract, small forward Veronesi has reached an agreement with Cremona and his upcoming departure leaves another hole in the Italian wing department that has already lost Tambone, who returned to Pesaro.
