American Jacob Pullen's tenure with Dinamo Banco di Sardegna lasted only two months. Following yesterday's announcement by coach Veljko Mrsic, here is the official statement regarding the "mutual termination of the contract with the athlete Jacob Pullen."

The statement also reads, "The player deserves our thanks for his contribution during his time at Sassari." His performances were below expectations, at least in the league, where he produced nearly 10 points but with 37% two-pointers and 21% three-pointers. The rift with the coach and the club was also fueled by Pullen's aloof attitude toward the Dinamo community. Suffice it to say, he repeatedly skipped the PalaSerradimigni court tour after the game.

The Sassari team is now looking for another point guard or point guard who can have a greater defensive impact in the squad, which already has six foreign players and will return forward Marshall when the season resumes. Captain Thomas, however, has not yet received an approximate return date after spraining his left ankle last week.
