Dani Alves arrested for sexual assault.

The Brazilian footballer, who currently plays for Mexican club Pumas, allegedly sexually abused a woman in Barcelona.

The facts date back to last December 30 in a night club. The alleged victim reports that the 39-year-old put his hands in her underwear, without her consent.

She then reported him to the nightclub's security personnel, who informed the authorities as per protocol.

According to reports from Mundo Deportivo, Alves surrendered to Mossos d'Esquadra this morning .
