The Premio Navicella Sardegna reveals its winners
The awards to Pes and Zucca, Sirigu and Varvello. But not only
Also this year the Premio Navicella Sardegna did not miss anything.
Among the six winners of the silver spaceships, the singer Daniela Pes, the actress Silvia Carusillo, the writer Pierluigi Serra, the professor Piero Cappuccinelli, the director Paolo Zucca and the footballer Salvatore Sirigu, and, finally, the journalist Marco Varvello, which instead went to the Olimpia Matacena Prize for communication, the 22nd edition gave a real show.
This evening at the Mario Ceroli Theater in Porto Rotondo, during the ceremony conducted by Egidiangela Sechi – assisted in the task by the actor Marco Spiga – the event revealed the faces of the protagonists of 2023, identified by the jury chaired by Franco Cuccureddu.
Sardinian personalities, by birth, origin or adoption – such as Varvello, companion of the Macomer jazz singer Filomena Campus – who have brought prestige to the island nationally and internationally, and who have paraded on stage, one after the other, in the long Gallura night accompanied by the musical moments of the Chamber Orchestra of Sardinia, conducted by maestro Simone Pittau.
First protagonist of the evening, in order of appearance next to Egidiangela Sechi, Daniela Pes from Tempi, introduced on stage by the video of "Carme", from the album "Spira", which also gives its name to her tour. Followed by Piero Cappuccinelli, born in Alessandria but a professor at the University of Sassari since 1974, academic of the Lincei, Silvia Carusillo, born in Cagliari, raised in Sassari, moved from theater to television and cinema and exploded professionally in Mexico, Pierluigi Serra, writer, journalist and calligrapher from Cagliari, the football champion of La Caletta Salvatore Sirigu, role goalkeeper, former PSG, Naples and Fiorentina and national blue champion of Europe, and Paolo Zucca, from Oristano, released in theaters in the autumn with according to Mary".
Finally, once the six shuttles have run out, the Olimpia Matacena Prize for communication went to Marco Varvello, a well-known face of Rai, who was sent to London. The evening in Porto Rotondo, which hosted the Premio Navicella Sardegna for the tenth consecutive season, will be broadcast in its entirety on Videolina on Saturday 16 September in prime time, at 9 pm.
