Coppa Italia Mma, five podiums for the Sardinians: two golds, one silver and two bronzes
Great success in Rome for the Tarantini Fight Club team from Sassari
An Italian Mma Cup in the name of the island.
In the tenth edition of the tournament which took place at the Palattorino in Rome with over 450 members, the Sassari team from the Tarantini Fight Club Training Center led its athletes to the highest steps of the podium .
The Sardinian team returned to the island with two golds, one silver and two bronzes , thus contributing to the victory of the Aurora team (national team based in Rome which brings together the best Italian schools in the discipline led by Lorenzo Borgomeo and Riccardo Carfagna).
Sardinian athletes on the podium. Andrea Pazzona is gold in the 70 kg B/V category, Medu Mbengue gold in the 57 kg B/V category. Matteo Dore in the absolute juniors 66 kg won silver. The bronze went instead to Morgan Capocci in the 66 kg B/V and to Luca Casu in the 70 kg white belts.
Excellent performances also by rookies Andrea Piga (who lost only on points in the quarterfinals) and Giuseppe Cannas , who also lost in the quarterfinals, playing a splendid match with the outgoing champion.
The four coaches Mario Piroddu, Franco Fois, Silvano Pais and Angelo Tarantini are very satisfied with the work done and the results obtained.
