"Poetas e emigrados" is the title of the double event that will enliven Orune on Saturday and Sunday. Tomorrow at 6pm, in the municipal library, the project proposes the awarding of the winning poems of the literary competition.
The conference "Poetas e emigrados" is scheduled for Sunday at 5pm in the municipal library. next July 7th we return to Barbagia, to Orune, for "Poetas e emigrados", an event organized by the municipal administration, in collaboration with the Union of Municipalities of Mont'Albo, the Fasi (Federation of Sardinian Associations in Italy), the Sardinian Club "Shardana" of Perugia and the Maria Carta Foundation. The initiative is financed by the European Union as part of the MAECI project "Root tourism".
After the greetings of the mayor Giovanna Porcu and the councilor for culture Giuliana Pittalis, Mario Paffi, regional representative of the Maeci project "The tourism of roots", Bastianino Mossa, president of Fasi, Silvestra Pittalis, founder of Ammentos, and Nicoletta Menneas will take the floor , of the Shardana Club of Perugia. The intervention of Leonardo Marras, president of the Foundation, and Giacomo Serreli is expected, who will present "Freemmos - The days against depopulation", with the screening of the docufilm that recounts seven years of the project. Also on the lineup are direct testimonies from the Sardinian clubs of central Italy. This will be followed at 9pm, in Piazza Latino Lanfranco, by a musical evening organized by the municipal administration and the Maria Carta Foundation, with the group Tenore Sant'Andria di Orune, Maria Giovanna Cherchi, Quartetto Etno Folk and Niera.
