From fiction to reality, Commissioner Ricciardi comes to terms with a mystery.

There is in fact a thriller that surrounds the protagonist character of the novels born from the pen of the writer Maurizio De Giovanni which have turned into a very popular fiction aired in recent months. The trench coat worn by the actor who plays Luigi Alfredo Ricciardi - Lino Guanciale - has disappeared from inside the Caffè Gambrinus in Naples. It is actually a faithful copy donated by the Canzanella tailor's shop and which had been symbolically placed on the coat hanger in July in the Michele Sergio room of the local historian, the one where the policeman usually sips his coffee while conversing with other guests about crimes, suspects and hypothesis.

Someone thought of a mistake, a bit like when you leave a shop and grab someone else's umbrella, or of a force majeure - such as the need to wear outerwear, perhaps for the cool - and who knows what the garment does not return to its place. At Gambrinus they are not new to theft, cups and other objects often disappeared from tourists as a souvenir.
