Cinema, in Tavolara also "The eight mountains" and "Drought"
The program of the festival scheduled from 11 to 16 July has been unveiled
There are also the award-winning "The eight mountains" and "Drought" in the program of the 33rd edition of the Tavolara Film Festival.
"A night in Italy" returns from 11 to 16 July with many guests, the meetings in the small square in Porto San Paolo, moderated by Geppi Cucciari , by the artistic director of the event, Piera Detassis , and by the journalist Stefania Ulivi , and, of course, the films: first screening on 11 July at the Peschiera di San Teodoro at 9 pm with “Mixed by Erry” , directed by Sydney Sibilia in the presence of the actors Luigi D'Oriano and Cristiana Dell'Anna.
On July 12 , again at the Peschiera di San Teodoro, the tribute to the great Gigi Riva with the film "In our sky a rumble of thunder" , directed by Riccardo Milani who will introduce the film, on July 13 , in Piazzetta Gramsci in Porto San Paolo, the short film winner at the David di Donatello 2023 "The dependent variables" by Lorenzo Tardella will be presented, which will accompany his work; to follow the documentary, also awarded at the last David, "The circle" by director Sophie Chiarello, present together with Francesca Cima, producer of the film for Indigo Film.
From the day after, the festival will move to Tavolara: first screening on the island, on July 14 , the directorial debut of Davide Gentile, or "Shark teeth". On July 15, space for Paolo Virzì's film "Drought" , accompanied by two extraordinary performers such as Tommaso Ragno and Emanuela Fanelli, the latter awarded as Best Supporting Actress at the David 2023.
Grand finale, on July 16 , with one of the great winners of the last David "The eight mountains" , by Felix Van Groeningen and Charlotte Vandermeersch, which will be preceded by the exclusive images of "A special photographic journey behind the scenes of the set" , signed by Alberto Novelli, historic photographer of "A night in Italy".
Among the collateral events, the photographic exhibition dedicated to the great actor Gian Maria Volonté , who would have turned 90 this year, in Piazzetta Gramsci in Porto San Paolo, where tomorrow, at 9 pm, the tribute to Giorgio Gaber will be staged with the show “Gaber, monologues and songs”, with Neri Marcorè and Domenico Mariorenzi.
Of note on June 28 in Porto Rotondo, at the Ceroli Amphitheater, the screening of the film "La terra delle donne" , directed by Marisa Vallone and accompanied by the leading actress Paola Sini.
