Charolais beef cattle and Limousine, great success for the exhibition in Ozieri
At the San Nicola fairground over 15 thousand people admired the registered animals
Great success for the regional show of Charolaise and Limousine beef cattle.
"Rubacuori" by Salvatore Fresi for the Limousine and "Secomtesse" by Tomaso Pulina for the Charolaise crowned their victory as absolute champions in a public setting that had been missing since 2019. The two breeders have also won the Breeding Award which is reserved to the breeders who win the greatest number of categories.
During the two days, more than 100 animals alternated in the Ozieri ring, showing the shapes and diameters of these two breeds and which involved judge Anacli, Giuseppe La Terra, and the assistant Sandro Multineddu. The awards were presented by Malko Gallone, President of Anacli, by Luciano Useli Bacchitta, President of AARSardegna, by Battista Cualbu, President Fedana and by the Mayor of Ozieri Marco Murgia.
“We can only be happy” comments Luciano Useli Bacchitta , President of AARSardegna, “because we saw in the eyes of our breeders the satisfaction of an event organized in the smallest detail and which attracted breeders but also many curious ones. As an Association of Breeders we are proving to be a reference for the sector and our commitment will continue on this path. We thank the Municipality of Ozieri, the ATS of Ozieri and Sassari for the great understanding in organizing this event in the best possible way ”.
“The zootechnical exhibitions represent for the System of Breeders Associations, AARSardegna and Anacli”, comments Aldo Manunta director of AARSardegna, “a showcase of what is a job that lasts 365 days a year. Without the constant work of livestock controllers and breed experts today we would not have such results. The credit therefore goes to our breeders, who work hard and believe in the work we do, but also to our collaborators who are present in their stables every day to support and advise them ".
The exhibition, organized by ANACLI, AARSardegna and the Municipality of Ozieri and the contribution of the Sardinia Region, is therefore confirmed as one of the most anticipated events in the island's breeding world and beyond.
