A win, a draw and a defeat on Tuesday night for the Italian teams in the Champions League, while waiting for the fourth day of the championship phase to be completed today.
The feat is undoubtedly that of Milan, who triumphed 1-3 against Real Madrid at the Bernabéu . The lead was taken by Malick Thiaw in the 12th minute, following a corner kick, then the temporary equaliser by Vinícius Júnior from a penalty (23rd minute). But Paulo Fonseca's team took the lead again in the 39th minute with former player Álvaro Morata, who was very good at tapping in a first shot that had been parried by the goalkeeper. In the second half, Tijjani Reijnders closed the game in the 73rd minute, at the end of a great move. In the final minutes, Antonio Rüdiger's goal was disallowed for offside.
In Lille, Juventus went down to a goal by Jonathan David, launched by a masterly assist from Edon Zhegrova on the right (27'). The final 1-1 was scored by Dušan Vlahović on the hour mark, wrong-footing the goalkeeper on a penalty won by Francisco Conceição . For the Bianconeri, it was still a good point.
Third consecutive defeat for Bologna in the Champions League , also unlucky: Monaco wins 0-1 in the final at the Dall'Ara, Thilo Kehrer scores in the 86th minute from a corner kicked to the far post. In the other matches, Manchester City's 4-1 defeat against Sporting CP stands out (Viktor Gyökeres scored a hat-trick).
Tonight, at 9pm, the other two Italian games: the big match is Inter-Arsenal , with the Nerazzurri coming off a thrilling victory over Venezia on Sunday and awaiting another direct clash (in Serie A) with Napoli in four days. Atalanta, who are playing in Stuttgart , have just won against the Partenopei.
