Another epic comeback earns Argentina a spot in the World Cup final, where they'll play for their second consecutive title (and fourth overall) against Spain on Sunday at 9 p.m. England dreamed for half an hour, then collapsed in the final minutes with a dramatic comeback from 1-0 down to 1-2.

The first half was a deadlock and saw a flurry of fouls (19 fouls). The tie was finally broken in the 55th minute, with Rogers's cross from the right, and Gordon beat Molina to the far post to make it 1-0. Argentina poured forward, but were stopped by Mac Allister hitting the post and two chances for Nico González. That was until the 85th minute, when Messi set up Enzo Fernández for a powerful equalizer from the edge of the box.

England, who had significantly lowered their center of gravity, collapsed and also conceded the decisive goal. It was the 92nd minute and, after Mac Allister hit the post, Messi stepped up to his right and crossed, finding Inter's Lautaro Martínez who headed it in. There was an eruption of joy from all of Argentina and another turnaround, just like against Egypt in the round of 16.
