This is just a small preview of what New Year's Eve will be like in Castelsardo with Irama and Elodie.

On Sunday night Piazza Nuova sang and danced to the rhythm of the 90s.

Hundreds of people enjoyed themselves in Castelsardo for the winter return of Nostalgia90, organized by Angelo Radano and Alessio Testa, which has become the largest European community on the 90s with 1.5 million contacts on Facebook and 300,000 on Instagram.

The format born in Cilento also won the Mia Martini Award as Event of the Year. The Municipality and the Pro Loco of Castelsardo happily tested it this summer and have therefore decided to propose it again in the rich program of December which tomorrow will experience the highlight with the concerts of Irama and Elodie and the fireworks to greet 2025.

The city councilor for Tourism and Major Events, Giuseppe Ruzzu, explains: «An evening of entertainment that could not be missed in the calendar of end-of-year shows in Castelsardo, which aims to be the queen city of major events on the island. To promote tourism in all seasons we must, and will, also focus on major quality events».

Nostalgia90 is a traveling live show, like an open-air disco, made of music, themed animation, dancers, mascots such as Super Mario and his cousin Luigi, protagonists of the cult video game, and also gadgets and special effects. Many famous songs remixed in a dance key and proposed by DJ Michele and Vocalist Pepix: What is Love by Haddaway, L'Amour Toujours by Gigi D'Agostino, Blue by Eiffel 65, Sweet Dreams by La bouche, The Rythm of the Night by Corona and many other Italian and non-Italian artists, hits of that decade but also known to today's youth for their great danceability.
