Capichera, the Ragnedda family's winery and symbol of Italian wine excellence, changes hands. A sale operation that would have closed in recent weeks with an important Milanese investment group linked to the Bonomi family. A deal, armored and on which the utmost confidentiality applies.
THE NEGOTIATION - For some time now there have been rumors, including confirmations and denials, which made the Gallura brand the center of an important asset sale. In the winter of two years ago, there was also an announcement, very encrypted for normal privacy reasons given the company asset, which appeared on the specialized website of the Kensington Group, an international real estate company that deals with the management and sale of prestigious properties. Selling price announced, 18 million euros. A business that has not found official confirmation from the Ragnedda family. The owners of the company today, as then, are closed in rigid silence and do not let any indiscretions leak out. But it is certain that after two years the situation has taken a decisive turn triggered by contacts with the managers of the Milanese holding.

THE HOLDING . According to some indiscretions, Investindustrial, the billionaire fund of Andrea Bonomi, is behind the sale operation, a name very present when it comes to large investments in the wine supply chain, and not only (from Gardaland to Valtur, from Ducati and Aston Martin and AEB, Chianti Ruffino and as a family, Sella & Mosca, just to mention a few).

THE SALE . The sold package would cover a total area of approximately 103 hectares that extend between Arzachena, Olbia and Palau, in the precious triangle of the Costa Smeralda. The fine vineyards are spread over a total of 40 hectares, all within the boundaries set by the Vermentino di Gallura Docg disciplinary. The agreement also includes over 3000 square meters of facilities, including cellars, warehouses, offices, reception rooms and accommodation. The company has a production of 250,000 bottles with 3,000 quintals of processed grapes and an annual turnover of around 4 million euros. A solid international export that dominates the sales strategies of the Arzachena company.
