Christmas off for Cagliari, with the team having the day off from Davide Nicola and his staff. The “break ranks” came after yesterday's training, with the possibility of spending Christmas Eve with family and all day today. The next match is Saturday at 6 pm at the Domus against Inter, for the penultimate match of the first half of the Serie A season.

Tomorrow morning the restart at the Crai Sport Center in Assemini, where Yerry Mina will be the one to watch. The Colombian defender left the field in the 72nd minute of last Sunday's match in Venice due to a sore left calf : on Monday he did a cool-down with his teammates, while yesterday he trained separately. There are two sessions, tomorrow's and Friday's finishing session, to evaluate his presence: at the moment he is doubtful.

While there is still a chance for Mina to recover, Zito Luvumbo is unlikely to be included in the squad : he has not yet overcome the sprained ankle suffered eleven days ago against Atalanta. Cagliari-Inter is expected to be sold out, with approximately 16,400 spectators at the Domus: tickets have been sold out since the opening on December 12, even for the away sector.
