Cagliari prepares for the debut at the Teatro Lirico of Cagliari of director Ryan McAdams (St. Louis/Missouri, 1982).
The multifaceted musician with an international curriculum will lead the Orchestra and Choir on Friday 14 July at 8.30 pm (round A) and Saturday 15 at 7 pm (round B). Waiting for the public is a program entirely dedicated to English music , with the performance of Sea Pictures for contralto and orchestra op. 37 by Edward Elgar; These Things Shall Be for tenor, chorus and orchestra by John Ireland; Enigma Variations op. 36 by Edward Elgar.
The appointment is the eleventh of the 2023 concert season. The two solo voices of the first part of the evening are: Olesya Petrova (alto) and Oscar Piras (tenor). The choir master is Giovanni Andreoli . The show has a total duration of approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes , including the intermission.
