Cagliari, the day of truth with Reggina: the formations
Prelec on the field from the first minute next to Lapadula, Ranieri focuses on 4-3-1-2
Cagliari, it's time for truth. After the liberating success against Ascoli nine days ago at the Unipol Domus, the rossoblù have to speed up on the road where they haven't won since 10 September. This with Reggina at the "Granillo" stadium, among other things, is the first of seven direct clashes that will define the playoff grid.
Ranieri has chosen to play it with Radunovic, Zappa, Dossena, Obert, Azzi, Nandez, Makoumbou, Lella, Mancosu, Lapadula and Prelec, presumably lined up through the 4-3-1-2. Still out Pavoletti, Rog and Luvumbo.
A delicate challenge also for the Calabrian team which has lost seven of its last nine games and a large part of the advantage in the standings which had allowed it to share the top spot with Frosinone for several weeks (now it has the same 42 points as Cagliari, with one game in less, though).
Pippo Inzaghi - in his first year on the amaranth bench - will initially rely on the ex Colombi, Pierozzi, Camporese, Gagliolo, Di Chiara, Fabbian, Majer, the other ex Crisetig, Rivas, Menez and Canotto .
