Pereiro's strange escape from Cagliari opens the door to Radja Nainggolan's sensational return to the rossoblù.
After the victory over Como in Claudio Ranieri's opening match, the market is back in the limelight. Nacional of Montevideo surprisingly announced the arrival of Gaston Pereiro (not even Cagliari was aware of it) but in the end the negotiation went through.
In order to return to the team where he grew up in football, Pereiro gave up part of his salary (about 100,000 euros out of the 600,000 that he should still have received in this second phase of the season).
A place has therefore opened up in midfield for the return of the Ninja. Ranieri had always said he was open to the arrival of the Belgian as long as Radja had the right reasons.
After a few empty shots, for Nainggolan it could be the occasion for a great relaunch in football that has consecrated him as a top-level midfielder.
