It's the fifty-first minute of Hellas Verona-Cagliari when the rossoblù's match takes a turn. Negatively. Makoumbou just came in too hard on Duda, getting the second red which leaves the Sardinians with 10 men. Two minutes later Ngonge finds the opening goal, which effectively condemns Cagliari to defeat. Makoumbou's dismissal is the second of his championship .

The first came last December 2nd, during the match against Lazio : on that occasion it was a “Dogso” (foul on a clear scoring opportunity) against Guendouzi that convinced the referee to impose the maximum penalty. No one else has been sent off twice this season.

Yet Cagliari is one of the most disciplined teams in Serie A: with 28 to their name, they are the second team with the fewest yellows . Only Inter, with 22 yellow cards in total (and no expulsions) did better. The "badest", however, are Salernitana and Lecce, both with 46 yellows received.
