In the press room of the Unipol Domus, the 24/25 season of the Cagliari Football Academy was presented this morning. The initiative was born in 2014, with the aim of training many young people from 6 to 12 years old, both in terms of football and human skills, working both on the technical aspect regarding training, but also teaching the values of responsibility, sacrifice, respect and collaboration.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the forty affiliated Sardinian clubs, Mazzo di Rho (Lombardy) and Terzo Tempo Lecce (Puglia) , as well as the hosts such as the president Tommaso Giulini , the general manager Stefano Melis , the sporting director Nereo Bonato , the head of the Cagliari Football Academy Mattia Belfiori , the sporting and organizational director of the youth sector Pierluigi Carta and all the technical and administrative staff who manage the project.

Belfiori also underlined what the president said: «The goal is to constantly improve the search and cultivation of young talents, with an eye always on the growth of individual affiliated companies. The path does not only concern the field: the mission is also to train people, developing fundamental values such as respect, collaboration and responsibility. The most important aspect is the work we do day after day to organize, compare, increase not only the quantity but above all the quality of the work in the field, because the goal is to achieve an upgrade of the entire system».
