Cagliari fails to appear in Turin: Adams scores a brace, rossoblù defeated 2-0
Bad performance from Davide Nicola's team, never really dangerous for the whole ninety minutes

Cagliari's streak of three consecutive useful results ends, defeated 2-0 by Torino who had won just twice in four months. The rossoblù were never dangerous, in a bad evening and punished by a brace from Adams.
First chance in the 4th minute, Karamoh enters the area from the left and his right-footed shot – very dangerous – is deflected by Zappa into a corner. But two minutes later the Granata take the lead: through ball from the right by Lazaro for Ricci, assist for Adams who controls and manages to shoot with the ball hitting the crossbar and going into the net .
The pace was anything but exciting, in fact after the initial bursts of fire from the Granata, little or nothing happened. To see an action from Cagliari, we had to wait until the 28th minute, a free kick from the right and a header from Mina. After half an hour Karamoh was freed centrally by a pass from Maripán that was pierced by the visiting defence, a low right-footer from the edge of the area and Caprile avoided the 2-0 .

We start again with no changes and with a goal disallowed for Torino: Karamoh easily skips past Luperto, a low cross is missed by Mina and Lazaro comes into the six-yard box to deflect the ball into the net. It's the 48th minute, Cagliari's defense is immobile but an offside by Karamoh saves the rossoblù . The granata don't stop and in the 53rd minute, on a cross from the bottom by Vlašić from the right, Tameze heads the ball in with a sure shot and Caprile - the only one to save himself - performs a real miracle.
Nicola had made three changes in the 54th minute against Lecce, this time he makes four in the 58th minute: Augello for Obert, Adopo for Deiola, Pavoletti for Gaetano and Makoumbou for Marin (who doesn't take it well). But the situation gets worse, with Adams hitting the post - from two steps away - on a corner from the right that was extended. Missed goal on the hour mark, goal scored a minute later: Karamoh enters the area, hits the crossbar with his left foot but the rebound ends up on Adams who is also lucky to find a rebound on Zappa . Cagliari protests for a contact at the start of the action on Luperto, but everything is regular.
In the last quarter of an hour there is also Lapadula for a never in the game Piccoli. But we can't even talk about a final siege: the reaction of Cagliari is not there, only a header wide by Luperto on a cross by Zappa (93') . And after four minutes of recovery Torino can celebrate the return to victory, which has been missing since December 13th.
