International recognition for Cagliari Calcio at "The StadiumBusinessAwards 2021": the BeAsOne project won in the "Sustainability & Community" category.

The awards ceremony was held at Old Trafford in Manchester: the club's ethical manifesto for sustainable development was chosen - these are the reasons - as it "outlines a clear philosophy, a common and shared way of acting, based on values cornerstones such as inclusion, equality and sustainability capable of guiding all initiatives, whether sporting or not ".

BeAsOne prevailed over the sustainability projects of four other clubs, which reached the final, those of Ajax, Sunderland, Toronto FC and AGF Aarhaus.

"The StadiumBusinessAwards" is an initiative that annually rewards the best projects related to sports facilities worldwide: focus on multiple criteria, including implementation, management and innovation, and on the company's sustainability programs.

Cagliari had also won the 2020 edition of the award in the "Fan Experience" category thanks to the Curva Futura, the first sector in Italy built to host the children of the "School of Typhus", a project conceived and managed by the "Carlo Enrico Giulini" Foundation .

"The second consecutive victory at" The StadiumBusinessAwards "is a reason for happiness and pride, but it is above all a strong push to always do something more", explains Elisabetta Scorcu, CSR manager of Cagliari Calcio. "BeAsOne - he specifies - aims to make concrete, positive changes in the world we live in".

Among the activities carried out, the "Scuola di Tifo" and the "Curva Futura" initiative, including the registration of two teams in the federal Paralympic football tournaments, the safeguarding and cleaning of the territory in collaboration with Legambiente and other partners, the sustainable mobility.

“All initiatives that will be strengthened and to which new ones will be added” promises Elisabetta Scorcu.
