The new public slipway for hauling and launching small boats was inaugurated this morning at the port of Cagliari, in the area of Sa Perdixedda.

It used to be in Su Siccu, but after the redevelopment of the promenade the service was transferred.

It was placed between the Fish Market and the Fishing Dock in an area of about one thousand square meters that was left abandoned which, during the construction of the small infrastructure, was subjected to environmental and urban recovery.

In addition to the ramp, in fact, the Port System Authority has positioned a wooden walkway, with two lighting points, capable of making exit or re-entry operations from the sea safer.

In addition, there is also an illuminated space for parking and stopping the trolleys used to transport boats.

The structure can be used as early as the next few days, immediately after the issuance of the specific joint ordinance of the Authority and the Maritime Direction which will regulate its use.

"A further step in the path of recovery and relaunch of underused port areas as has already happened for a large part of the Cagliari waterfront, which we entrust to the correct and respectful use by all lovers of the sea", commented the president of the Authority. of Massimo Deiana port system.
