Boston Marathon: Kenya hat-trick, Chebet wins
In the women's competition, the Tokyo Olympic champion, Peres Jepchirchir, took first place
At the Boston Marathon Kenya a great success with a hat-trick. Evans Chebet won with a time of 2h06'51 ". In second place (2h36'51") the compatriot Lawrence Cherono, who had won in Boston in 2019, third in 2h07'27 "the winner of last year, the other Kenyan Benson Kipruto.

At the marathon, security measures were strengthened following the attack on the New York subway a few days ago, and in light of the previous attack that took place nine years ago in which 3 people had died, 260 injured.
26,000 athletes registered for today's race, including 11 former winners.
