With a photo in front of the most famous theater in Italy , the Tenores of Bitti “Remunnu 'e Locu” communicated to their fans: «We have been in Sanremo for a few days for rehearsals. It's not long until the evening of February 9th, when we will sing with Mahmood at the Ariston Theater on the occasion of the 74th edition of the most important festival of Italian music."
Hundreds of likes and comments of applause, among which that of the singer himself originally from Orosei ("Ajò") stood out.
Yet another success for the association founded in 1974 by Daniele Cossellu, Piero Sanna, Salvatore Bandinu and Tancredi Tucconi, fresh from tours in all five continents and performances with top musicians such as Lester Bowie, Ornette Coleman, Frank Zappa and Peter Gabriel.
And while the enthusiasm around the Barbagia team grows hour by hour on the island, the quartet composed of Dino Ruiu (voice), Andrea Sella (mezzo voice), Mario Pira (Bass) and Pierluigi Giorno (Contra), is in full immersion with rehearsals in view of the cover evening, during which he will perform with Mahmood performing the song "Come è profound il mare" by Lucio Dalla.
