Bitas, Sardinia is increasingly focusing on active tourism
Large numbers for the first day, characterized by institutional interventions and by operators and representatives of tourist associationsOver four thousand direct contacts, with almost three hundred people present in Alghero and three thousand three hundred contacts for negotiations between buyers and sellers (and a thousand in line) for tomorrow. The regional councilor for tourism, Gianni Chessa, closed the first day of work of Bitas (the International Exchange of Active Tourism in Sardinia and the States General of Tourism) with these numbers. A day characterized by institutional interventions and by operators and representatives of tourist associations on the various themes of active tourism.
From the lines of the political strategy of the Region to very delicate and crucial topics, such as the knowledge and study of data, the critical issues of the island's tourist offer but also the many opportunities offered by the various segments: from cycling to hiking, from tourism nautical to sporting, driven by events. And then the need to improve in various sectors, to encourage sustainability, respect for the environment, accessibility.
An intense day, which reaffirmed the exceptional heritage that Sardinia can allocate to a form of tourism that potentially knows no season.
