Bills, incoming sting: from October risk increase of 60%
90% gas storage, but the risk of rationing remainsPer restare aggiornato entra nel nostro canale Whatsapp
Sting coming in the electricity bills of Italians, which as early as October could increase by 60% . And, without government intervention , even 100% .
As for gas , the bill for Italians could increase by 70% at the end of October.
These are the forecasts made by Nomisma Energia, and the cause of the price increases is always the same: the race in the price of methane. On the other hand, the positive news arrives that gas storage in Italy has reached 90% , the goal that the government had set for itself. But the risk of rationing is not averted : if the winter is harsh, and if Russia closes the taps, it may become necessary to cut consumption between February and March.
THE BONUSES - While waiting for the new Giorgia Meloni government to take possession of Palazzo Chigi, the Italians continue to ask questions to get the latest bonuses decided by Mario Draghi. The last one is that of 600 euros for workers (two days ago instead the one of 200 euros for the self-employed was triggered), which should help pay the bills. It will be called a "bonus" 600 euros but in fact it is what the experts define as a "fringe benefit", ie compensation that is not paid out in cash, but as goods and services that are in the paycheck. In this case it concerns the chapter of expenses for water, gas and electricity; a support provided for in the Aid Decree bis. In essence, companies will be able to help their employees in paying their bills only once and with amounts ranging from 258 to 600 euros (at the moment it is not clear whether the incentive includes utilities in the name of spouses and cohabitants).
For the employer it is deductible money, which goes to reduce the company's taxable income, while for the worker it is net sums , not subject to contributions or taxation. And there is no obligation for the company to provide this benefit: it is the owner who decides who to help and what sum to give.
Tomorrow the Regulatory Authority for Energy, Networks and the Environment will communicate the new electricity tariff reserved for the protected market for families and businesses from 1 October.
