The 26-year-old Roman tennis player, seeded number 2 and tenth in the world ranking, defeated the German Oscar Otte , n.61 Atp, in the semifinals, with a score of 7-6 (7) 7-6 (5) , gained in a hour and 48 minutes of play.
The blue, returning after a three-month break following the operation on his hand that made him miss the whole season on clay, will challenge the Scottish Andy Murray for the title.
