The shooter from Lithuania celebrates his 100 blue-and-white matches in the Italian Serie A between the championship, the Italian Cup and the Super Cup. He will cross the finish line on Sunday at the PalaSerradimigni against the Pesaro stealer.

Arrived three seasons ago at Dinamo from Lietuvos Rytas, with whom he had just won the Lithuanian cup, Bendzius quickly settled into the Italian reality. The winger playing in spot "4" is essentially a shooter, but he can also drive or get close to the basket when the defender is slow or off balance.

So far, he's averaging 15.4 points on 51% two-point shooting, 45.6% three-pointers and 4.5 rebounds. He reached his personal maximum twice: 29 points against both Venice and Tortona last season. Both Pozzecco, Cavina and Bucchi have always used him as owner: 31 minutes on the parquet to demonstrate how fundamental he is for the quintet from Sassari.

If we add the points scored in the Champions League to the tally in the Italian Serie A, we arrive at 1,799 points. One is missing from reaching 1,800. In the usual middle school, he will close the third season with over 2,000 points in the white and blue shirt.
