A new adventure for Sasha Grant. The 2002-born basketball player from Dolianova will next season wear the jersey of Umana Reyer Venezia, Italian runner-up.

After taking his first steps between Jolly Dolianova and Esperia Cagliari, Grant developed in the youth academy of Pallacanestro Reggiana before taking his flight to Bayern Munich, where he also had the opportunity to experience the Euroleague stage. After loan stints with Bayreuth in the Bundesliga and Verona in Serie A2, he returned to Reggio Emilia and then carved out a prominent role in the last Serie A season with Vanoli Cremona, finishing with 5.1 points and 2.6 rebounds in nearly 19 minutes of play.

Grant has also been part of the senior national team for some time.
