“Cultural Tourism Expo”, the conference in Barumini
Today the presentation of the Degree Course in Restoration of Cultural Heritage – Casa Zapata Museum Centre
The tenth edition of the Cultural Tourism Expo from November 30th to December 2nd transforms Barumini into the beating heart of archaeological and cultural tourism on the island.
The event, organized by the Barumini Sistema Cultura Foundation and the Municipality of Barumini, promises a program full of meetings, exhibitions, laboratories, tastings and workshops.
The Giovanni Lilliu Centre, a stone's throw from Su Nuraxi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the main setting for the Expo.
LIVE STREAMING – On Saturday 30 November, with live streaming also on UnioneSarda.it , the international conference entitled “The management of world heritage and international cultural relations” was held, with a debate involving experts and representatives of UNESCO sites such as Su Nuraxi, the Talayotic site of Minorca and the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang in China.
Also live streaming on UnioneSarda.it is the conference “Archaeology of the present and future of archaeology” , which was held on Sunday 1 December from 9:30 to 10:30 , followed by the conference “Exemplary nature of Marmilla between nature and culture”, coordinated by Professor Maria Antonietta Mongiu, from 10:45 to 12:45 .
Also on Monday 3 December, the presentation of the Degree Course in Restoration of Cultural Heritage – Casa Zapata Museum Centre will be live streamed on UnioneSarda.it, starting at 10:30.
