Avis and Olbia Calcio renew their partnership for the 2024/25 season , starting on September 8 with the first day of the Serie D championship .
The exceptional testimonial is the coach of the whites Marco Amelia , who on the eve of tomorrow's initiative, before the series, when in the square of the Delta Center, from 8 to 12, it will be possible to donate blood at the bloodmobile, says: «We are honored to be able to contribute to the community of Olbia through blood donation with Avis Olbia. In addition, all those who go to donate blood will receive a voucher to come and see our games».
The agreement between Avis and Olbia Calcio provides that donors registered with the association who go to donate blood, at the bloodmobile or the Transfusion Center of the Olbia Hospital, tomorrow as during the season, will be entitled to a voucher that will be converted into an entrance ticket to the "Nespoli" stadium to attend a match of the whites.
The voucher can be given to the donor's family members, so that even minors who cannot donate blood can be made aware of the issue.
"It's a wonderful initiative ," Amelia emphasizes, "that I hope will make donations more and more frequent ."
Satisfied with the agreement Gavino Murrighile. «An agreement that finds its raison d'être in the effort that Avis Olbia is making to sensitize the community to donate, given the serious shortage of blood in the hospitals», explains the president of Avis Olbia. «We thank the management of Olbia in the persons of the president Guido Surace and Benno Räber for the generosity shown on the field and the coach of Olbia Marco Amelia for having enthusiastically embraced the initiative and having “relaunched” by promoting the external blood collection of the Delta Center on August 29».
The location of the first appointment with the donation branded Avis-Olbia Calcio is not accidental: in fact, the players and technical staff of Olbia are staying at the Delta Center.
The collection is open to all those who want to join the whites in this day of solidarity and sport, about which President Surace declares: "Making yourself available to the community should be a duty as well as a pleasure. Working in football is a privilege and our players must first of all possess the human values needed to be identified as examples to follow".
