Assemini: definitive turnout at the lowest, 34.29%. At the start the counting, challenge Puddu-Corrias

Ballot boxes closed, counting has begun in Assemini. Only 34.29% of citizens went to the ballot box (7,863 voters) , more than 12% less than in the first round (46.66%), when there was already the lowest turnout among all the 39 Sardinian municipalities to vote

The challenge is between Mario Puddu , supported by civic and centre-right lists, and Diego Corrias , at the head of an alliance between the M5s and the Democratic Party with centre-left lists. Two weeks ago Puddu had obtained 37.79% of the preferences, while Corrias 31.15%.
