The Organica Museum of Environmental Art inaugurates its autumn season tomorrow with the presentation of its new series of site-specific works installed among the clearings and Mediterranean scrub.
Meet at 11:00 a.m. at the entrance to the Bosco di Curadureddu , where the new journey of the environmental art museum located in the heart of the Limbara Park, a stone's throw from Tempio Pausania, will begin with a special day dedicated to contemporary art and a dialogue with nature. Works by Giusy Calia and Antonello Fresu ("Listening to the Sky"), Marcello Cinque ("New Balances"), and Igino Panzino ("Pomotoi") will enrich Organica's outdoor exhibition, strengthening the museum's identity as a place of artistic experimentation immersed in nature.
Walking up the path leading to the museum's exhibition halls, the artists will illustrate their installations before arriving at Spazio Cedap, where Valentina Daga's new solo exhibition, "Starwatching," will be presented. Curated by Organica's artistic director Giannella Demuro, the exhibition is accessible to the blind and visually impaired.
The exhibition carries within it the poetic and radical idea of making the immensity of the universe perceptible through the hands .
In this project, stargazing opens up to an inclusive and multisensory dimension: “Starwatching” invites every viewer, sighted or blind, to discover a sky made not only of light but also of matter, not only of distance but also of contact.
Illustrator Toni Demuro's exhibition "Like a Leaf," which opened on August 10, has been extended until November 5.
