The new Italian Aquabike Endurance F1 champion is Emanuele Masala, 48, originally from Olbia. He won in Fiumicino in the final round of the championship, following the rounds in Rimini, Chioggia, and Santa Cesarea that marked the season's route.
"It's a great satisfaction," Masala comments. "I'm truly very happy. I thank the Italian Powerboating Federation for its constant support, my family, and everyone involved with my team, Jet Energy." Masala has been a key player in the world of jet skis since 2004.
In his workshop, he prepares and tunes the bikes, including the model he rode to victory: a Kawasaki Ultra 310. After finishing second in 2024 and the recent European podium in Vichy, France, the Olbia-born rider has brought Sardinia to the top step of the national powerboating ladder. His next goal is the World Championship: a round in Puglia and, immediately after, the October 17th race in Olbia, where he will be on the water in front of his home crowd.
