If the prelude is these days, it can be said that the tourist season is opening well for the city of Alghero.

Leaving aside the political controversies of these days, with the suspension of the proxies for the councilor for Culture, Brothers of Italy quota, Alessandro Cocco and the attacks of the center-left on the situation of urban decor, the Riviera del Corallo celebrates Easter with a bath of crowd for these Easter ceremonies.

One above all that of the Desclavament, celebrated in the Cathedral of Santa Maria. A truly touching and moving rite, in the presence of bishop Mauro Maria Morfino and with the attentive guidance of the former parish priest of Cossoine, Don Peppino Lintas, who also animated the ceremony with some songs in Sardinian. The civil and military authorities were also present, including the mayor Mario Conoci and the president of the regional council, Michele Pais. Then the procession developed through the streets of Alghero: each stage was animated by the songs of the choral ensembles invited by the organizers.

The Desclavament was preceded by a significant and no less exciting rite: the Arborament, starting from the Church of Mercy with the cross and then arriving in the Cathedral where it was hoisted in the middle of the altar.

Another very popular and well-attended event was that of Thursday with Les Cerques, with the procession always through the streets of the city.
