The one scheduled for today, Tuesday 4 April, will be a tribute to Fabrizio De André as part of the cultural meetings organized by the University of the Third Age of Tempio .

The special guest was one of Faber's closest friends and his biographer, Alfredo Franchini , journalist and writer.

In the Sala Brigaglia, on the first floor of the Palazzo degli Scolopi in Tempio Pausania, at 4.30 pm, Franchini will draw an authentic portrait of the great singer-songwriter for the UTE with a speech entitled "With the eyes of memory: remembering Fabrizio De André" .

The writer and journalist from Cagliari is still very close to the artistic heir of the brilliant and unforgettable Genoese singer-songwriter, his son Cristiano, who brings his father's masterpieces to the stage in the show "De André sings De André", a condensation of emotions, poetry and extraordinary suggestions capable of filling the Arena di Verona and any theater where an extraordinary show is hosted which attracts three generations of enthusiasts.

Franchini's latest book, "These dreams that don't make you wake up" published by Arcana Editore, is dedicated to the tour that De André Jr. made in 2018 on the wave of the success of the album "Storia di un employee" reinterpreted and rewritten by Cristiano 50 years later has become a real rock opera: a way to re-propose, with a new dress, the relevance of the poetic and social message of that record work.

A volume where the stories of his son Cristiano and many anecdotes of a musical adventure destined to enter the history of Italian song find space.

Franchini will talk about this and much more this evening in an intense monologue recalling the "lessons" received from Fabrizio De André who loved to tell his life experiences between music, art, cuisine, ranging in everything that happened between tours around the Italy and the periods of rest with Dori Ghezzi in his estate in Gallura.

Admission is free.
