There will also be Alessandro , 32-year-old fruit and vegetable producer from Atzara , among the participants in the new edition of “ The farmer looks for a wife ”, a reality show hosted by Gabriele Corsi and broadcast from Sunday 2 October on Nove (streaming on discovery +).
In the format, with an ironic style, five farmers engaged in the search for their soul mate .
Alessandro, who in the presentation of the program tells of living in one of the most beautiful villages in Italy , in the small town in the heart of Sardinia grows fruit and vegetables, and produces oil and wine. After a bitter disappointment in love, he can't wait to find a girl with whom he can share everything he has built over the years.
Alongside Alessandro, 4 other singles looking for love : Dario , farmer and cattle breeder of the Marche breed, is 32 years old and lives in the province of Recanati; Stefano , 47 years old from the province of Lecce, better known as “Patata Joe”, grows potatoes and olive trees with passion on his farm; Teodoro , 28 years old, born in South Tyrol, after living in Florence he realized his dream, moving to a farmhouse in Tuscany where he grows hemp; and finally Enrico , 23, for all “Il Nol”, a farmer from Val di Fassa, who at 15 bought his first cow and hasn't stopped since.
In the first episode, each farmer will meet some suitors , chosen from among the many who responded to their appeal on TV. The five competitors will have the opportunity to meet the girls to test affinity and differences and at the end of these "speed dates" each will have to make the final decision and choose three candidates who will move to the farm to start living together.
From the second episode, the program will follow life in the five farms in parallel, where coexistence will be dictated by the fast pace of country life that will put a strain on the tenacity and adaptability of the girls.
