Alessandra Zedda breaks the delay: «I am running with my own list to lead Sardinia»

«I am ready, I have started all the bureaucratic steps necessary to present my candidacy with the Anima di Sardegna list».
Alessandra Zedda thus confirms her entry into the field for the position of governor in the next regional elections in Sardinia .
«Mine – specifies the former vice-president of the Region and exponent of Forza Italia – will be an independent race, as many exponents of civil society have asked me to do ».
Zedda, who left the Solinas regional council in early November 2022 accusing it of "inaction", says she is "tired of the slowness and last-minute decisions" of the center-right coalition which has not yet chosen its leader for the next five years, with the coalition table to find agreement on the candidate – Christian Solinas? Paolo Truzzu? –which slipped again.
So, final decision? «Only a proposal for rupture and discontinuity, which undermines the national division schemes between the regions, would make me change my mind – explains Zedda – but I will go ahead anyway ».
As regards her Forza Italia membership, Zedda currently remains within the party founded by Silvio Berlusconi, but this morning she presented her technical membership to "Anima di Sardegna" in the Council.
«In the meantime – he concludes – I am working on the list and on the next deadline for filing the symbol».
As is known, the next deadlines are close: by January 15th the labels of the lists must be presented to the Court of Appeal in Cagliari: on January 21st and 22nd the lists in the chancelleries of the Courts where the central district offices are set up; the candidates for the office of governor by January 25th.
