Five days ago his election became official , about three weeks after that " magic night " in which - during a press conference - he communicated to voters and the whole of Sardinia that he had won the elections. Today Alessandra Todde , the first female governor of the island , "presents herself" on the website of the Sardinia Region , with an official page dedicated to her CV and contacts.
First up is his close-up, with his gaze observing anyone who comes across the site, then a sort of "letter" to surfers , in which he collects studies, work and political experiences. « I was born on 6 February 1969 in Nuoro – we read in the text – where I graduated. I graduated in information sciences and subsequently in computer science at the University of Pisa, obtaining the state exam and the title of engineer."
Then the list of jobs carried out , mostly abroad where «I lived and worked for several years, I dealt with energy and digital evolution. I am an entrepreneur, manager, founder and CEO of Energeya, acquired by FIS Global (formerly Sungard) in 2015. I have held the role of Senior Advisor Energy Markets at FIS Global, Sales Director South & Eastern Europe at Sungard and Client Relationship Manager Southern Europe at Nexant (formerly Excelergy). In December 2014 I was awarded as Sardinian entrepreneur of the year by AIDDA (Association of Entrepreneurs and Women Company Managers) Sardinia delegation. I was CEO of Olidata from 13 July 2018 to 19 April 2019, when I resigned to run in the 2019 European elections as the leader of the 5 Star Movement. In December 2018 I was named among the Italian Inspiring Fifty, a recognition given to the 50 women considered the most influential in the world of technology."
In closing, a summary of the political path that preceded the new adventure in the Region: «I was undersecretary of state from 16 September 2019 to 13 February 2021 in the Conte II government, and then deputy minister at the MiSE (Ministry of Economic Development) from 1 March 2021 to 22 October 2022 in the Draghi government. I held the position of vice-president of the M5S until November 2023, when I decided to take a step back in order to better represent the centre-left coalition in the Sardinian regional elections of 25 February 2024. On 25 September 2022 I was elected member of the Chamber ».
