At 12, the turnout in Sardinia is just 17.1% , where 39 Municipalities vote for the 2023 administrative elections. There are two centers with more than 15,000 inhabitants at the polls, for which there is a runoff hypothesis: Iglesias and Assemini.

The turnout figure is down by more than 5 percentage points compared to the previous administrative session (22.9%).

In Iglesias the turnout at 12 was 18.7%, in Assemini it was even lower: 12.1%. Polling stations open until 11pm today. Voting will take place tomorrow from 7am to 3pm.

The national figure for ballots in 7 provincial capitals and 34 municipalities is also down: it stands at 12%, almost two points less than in the first round (13.86%)
